Engineering and Maintenance Department
It is one of the largest departments of Air Astana. Department tasks include maintaining and ensuring technical fitness of the entire aircraft fleet of the company as well as maintaining and servicing aircraft components, spare parts and equipment. Today the Department has more than 450 employees and carries out its activities in Almaty, Astana and Atyrau cities. Along with maintaining the aircraft fleet of Air Astana, Department also provides technical services to other international and local airlines.
Company certified by European Aviation Safety Agency EASA Part 145, EASA Part 147 and Kazakh CAC.
Company has workshop certified by EASA 145 and Kazakh CAC and provide following range of services:
